Jeff’s life is a study in service to others, both in Scouting and in his community; in Scouting, Jeff could be called Mr. Order of the Arrow. In the Central Florida Council, where he now serves as council president, Jeff has served as the Order of the Arrow chapter chief and later as lodge adviser. He also served as the contingent adviser to several National OA conferences.

On the national and regional levels, he currently is a member of the National OA Committee and is the chairman of the Southern Region Order of the Arrow Committee. He is the national recreation coordinator for the ArrowCorps5 for George Washington and Jefferson National Forests. He has been on the training staff for eight National Leadership Seminars. His unselfish service earned Jeff the Order of the Arrow National Distinguished Service Award, the Order of the Arrow Founder’s Award and Most Dedicated Advisers Award.

Jeff is equally involved in his community. He is on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the University of Florida Alumni Association and currently serves as Treasurer. He will become its president next year. He is on the Board of Governors and Executive Committee of Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce and on the Executive Board of BusinessForce and serves as the chairman of its political committee.

Jeff is a member of the Economic Development Commission of Med Florida, the Kiwanis Club of North Orlando and the Downtown Orlando Partnership. The University of Florida Alumni Association has twice named Jeff as the Outstanding Gator Club Member and he is a member of the University of Florida Hall of Fame.
