If our council is operating a fall or winter camp, do we need to have a regional camp appraisal team visit during the camp?
A council camp session in the "off-season" that is only one week in duration, but otherwise meets the qualifications for a "Cub Scout or Boy Scout Resident Camp" need not have a visitation from the regional team. It does however, need to meet the same national standards as summer camp, with the exception of those that do not apply because of a limited program.
